The district-level exhibition and project competition under the INSPIRE Award MANAK Scheme for the year 2023-24 was organised at GSSSS (Girls), Rupnagar. Suhani and Neeraj Sharma, students of the school, were awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 for their ideas and they utilised this money to make their prototype models. Suhani (session 2022-23) prepared the prototype model of “Robotic arm for cleaning drains in my village” under the guidance of teachers Rupinder Kaur and Madhuri Maurya and secured third position in the district. Neeraj Sharma (session 2023-24) also prepared the “Spectacles Locator” prototype model with the help of guide teachers and participated in this competition. Headmaster Jarnail Singh and the entire staff congratulated the students and their parents on this splendid achievement.
