St Soldier International Convent School, Mohali, celebrated Grandparents' Day with great warmth and enthusiasm, under the theme "Roots and Wings". The event was graced by Dr V K Maini, renowned pulmonologist, and Jasjit K Jaggi, Director, Principal of Silver Wings Universal School, as the chief guests. The celebration began with the chairman, S Karandeep Singh Brar, welcoming the chief guests, followed by a heartfelt address by Principal Anjli Sharma, who expressed gratitude to the grandparents for their invaluable role in nurturing family values and traditions. Students from the Playgroup, Kindergarten and classes I and II presented a delightful cultural programme, including a welcome song, dance, medley, fashion show and poem recitation that left the audience spellbound. The event beautifully captured the essence of love across generations, strengthening the bond between the roots and the wings.
