The school celebrated Grandparents' Day with a function on the theme of the 'Golden Lessons from Grandparents'. Principal Gulshan Kaur presided over the programme, which started with the lighting of the lamp and the chanting of shlokas. Children expressed their love and gratitude towards their grandparents through melodious songs, graceful dances, a charming ramp walk and engaging games. The innocence and delightful performances of the children made the event truly memorable. The entire atmosphere resonated with smiles, laughter and affectionate moments, highlighting the invaluable role of grandparents as true guides and sources of inspiration in the lives of children. The Principal also extended her gratitude to all the guests and appreciated the participants' efforts, wishing them a bright and successful future.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
