The school celebrated Gurpurb of Guru Nanak Dev. The programme started with recital of 60 paths of ‘Japji Sahib’ by 70 students followed by ‘shabad kirtan under the patronage of Guru Granth Sahib. Around 210 students of the school attired in white sang the holy hymns describing the Guru’s glory and spoke about his life. They also spoke on the significance of Gurpurb and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev, through 51 poems, 11 speeches, 15 sakhis, lectures and discussion portraying the life history of the Guru. General secretary Gurvinder Singh Sarna, Manager Jasvinder Singh (Advocate), Principal Gurmant Kaur Gill, staff, parents and students joined hands in celebrating the Prakash Utsav. Langar was served to the sangat by staff and students.
