Guru Purnima was celebrated to emphasis the importance of having a Guru in our life. Class IX students hosted a special assembly to express their gratitude and love for their teachers. Students from different grades gave heartfelt speeches expressing their gratitude and admiration for their teachers. A choir group performed songs praising the virtues of teachers and the value of education. Middle school students sang the traditional “Guru Vandana”, a song dedicated to venerating their teachers. A special role-play depicting the importance of Guru in life captivated the audience. A teacher talk delivered by a teacher focussed on the importance of celebrating this important day and respecting all the elders and Gurus existing in our life. The event reinforced the school’s values of respect, gratitude, and lifelong learning.
