Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Model Town, Karnal, observed its 42nd Foundation Day with solemn devotion, coinciding with the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur. The three-day observance began with the Arambh Sri Akhand Path Sahib on December 5 and concluded today with Sampurna ceremony, kirtan renditions by students and katha vachan by the ragi jatha. The management committee and Principal Harvinder Singh felicitated meritorious students for excellence in academics and cultural activities. Committee members and special guests were also honoured. The Principal presented the annual progress report. The event also marked the silver jubilee of the school managing committee's 25 years of dedicated service with members being honoured with shawls and mementoes. The ceremony concluded with langar served to all attendees.
