The school in collaboration with the Chandigarh Literary Society organised a workshop on ‘Hindi & English creative writing’ for the students of Class VII to XII. The workshop was headed by Chandra Shekhar Verma and Sonika Sethi, renowned writers and authors. The session was initiated with a creative and innovative task. The students were excited to hone their creative skills. A plethora of activities marked the workshop wherein the learners grabbed some significant tips on having a creative bent of mind and expressing themselves to the fullest. The four-hour workshop was a great learning treat to the children. They learnt about the intricacies involved in writing a story. The children were acquainted with the significance of plot, sub-plot, characters, climax and correlation of the same with real life while writing a story. The kids enjoyed weaving stories. Fun-filled learning tasks kept the children completely involved in the activities they were exposed to. The workshop was a great success.
