Gyan Sagar Convent school, Kahangarh, organised a seminar for the students of Class I to Class VI on the topics of ‘Good touch’ and ‘Bad touch’ and Child Abuse cases. This seminar was conducted by Anamika Sandhu from Ek Soch NGO. It was well arranged by Gurpreet Singh and his team of Ek Soch. In this seminar, the students were guided about the symptoms of child abuse and how to get rid of such a situation. The knowledge regarding this was imparted among students through activity and interactive approach. They were also guided about their private body parts and solution of their grown up stage problems. Students showed full enthusiasm and participated actively. Principal Bharat Deep Garg concluded all the main key points of the seminar and discussed them with the students.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
