Hindi Diwas was celebrated in Shivalik International Convent School, Nangal Chowk. School Manager Malkiyat Singh Rana, while speaking as the chief guest in the Hindi Diwas programme, spoke about the importance of Hindi. Many activities were conducted in the school. Essay writing and poetry recitation competitions were organised among the primary-level children. The students of classes V and VI displayed their best art on Hindi Diwas by decorating the blackboard and walls. The students of classes VII and VIII enthralled the audience by presenting the song ‘Hindi Hamari Shaan’. The girls of Class IX highlighted the importance of the history of Hindi language through their speech. Seminars, plays, speeches, poetry reading and essay writing were organised for classes V to X. In this, all the teachers related to Hindi subject explained about the Hindi language in detail in their speeches.
