A Hindi speech competition was organised by the Hindi Department at Dyal Singh Public School, Panipat. The programme was inaugurated under the chairmanship of the principal of the school Dr Vinita Kumar Tomar. Students from classes IX to X participated. Four participants were selected from each house. The main objective of the competition was to improve the expression of thoughts hidden inside the students. The participants gave a captivating presentation on the topics like ‘patriotism’, ‘nation building’, ‘the meaning of the freedom struggle in the present times’, ‘freedom fighters and our responsibility’, ‘women power and patriotism’, etc. Principal Dr Vinita Kumar Tomar gave prizes to the winners and congratulated them.
