Gyan Ganga International School, Balran, Moonak, celebrated Independence Day under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, where students unfurled the national flag and spread the message of patriotism. The occasion featured a variety of vibrant cultural performances. Students presented patriotic dances and performances highlighting the importance of dedication and sacrifice in becoming a true patriot. They beautifully portrayed the contribution of people from all walks of life in the freedom struggle, inspiring the audience. On Janmashtami, the stage was decorated to resemble Vrindavan. Children performed Shri Krishna’s Raas Leela and tableaux that captivated everyone’s hearts. The graceful performances by the young children had significant contributions from Meenakshi Garg. Students of the school also participated in a programme held in Moonak, where their dance performances, patriotic songs, and parade were a visual delight, boosting their confidence further. School Chairman Suresh Mittal extended greetings to the students on Independence Day and encouraged them to actively participate in various events. Principal Harpreet Kaur inspired students to uphold the honour of the national flag. All students took a pledge to hoist the national flag at their homes every year and thereby add to the pride of the nation.
