International Day of Girl Child was observed at the school with a vibrant rally aimed at promoting girls’ rights and highlighting the importance of gender equality. The rally kicked off at 10 a.m. with school Principal Sr. Siji Isaac leading the members of Girl India Project taking lead. Colourful banners with inspiring messages like ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’.’Empower Her’ and ‘Girls’ Rights Are Human Rights’, lined the route, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and solidarity. As the rally concluded, Sr Siji addressed the participants, who took a pledge to advocate for girls’ rights and ensure every girl has access to education and equal opportunities and also to spread the message to the families, relatives and the community as a whole. The event was a powerful reminder of the ongoing struggle for gender equality and the role that each individual can play in creating positive change.
