The investiture ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held at the academy. The event was attended by zonal in-charge and vice-president of Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, Bhupinder Singh, school manager HD Sama and the members of Ludhiana Management Committee. The council was awarded sashes and badges. Following this, the oath-taking ceremony was led by Head Girl Japman Kaur and Head Boy Vivek Sharma, followed by the captains of the respective houses. The council members pledged to fulfil their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the school’s rules and regulations. Principal Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh congratulated and motivated the School Council with her inspiring words.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
