The campus of RIMT World School, Manimajra, resonated with pride, enthusiasm, and the spirit of leadership as the Investiture Ceremony 2025 unfolded — a momentous occasion celebrating responsibility, dedication, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. The event marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council, where young torchbearers pledged to uphold the school’s core values of integrity, discipline, and service. With confidence gleaming in their eyes and determination in their stride, each leader took the solemn oath, ready to lead with compassion and conviction. The atmosphere was filled with inspiration as Principal Anjali Sharma addressed the gathering, emphasising that true leadership is not about authority, but about responsibility and the courage to inspire others.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
