Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Jeevanwala, celebrated World Paper Bag Day. NCC cadets from the school's 5 Punjab Battalion, Moga unit, participated in the celebration. NCC ANO Amritpal Kaur Khosa and caretaker Veerpal Kaur emphasised the importance of using paper bags instead of plastic to protect the environment. Director/Principal Dr SS Brar highlighted the eco-friendly benefits of paper bags, noting that plastic poses a long-term threat to the planet. The NCC cadets prepared paper bags and distributed them among villagers, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic. The event concluded with a pledge to "Say no to plastic - Choose paper bags!"
