Continuing the tradition of academic excellence, Arpan of Commerce stream scored 98.2% and Naman of Science stream scored 96%. Siya of Class X scored 96.2%, Sunidhi scored 95% and Bhoomi 94.4%. From Class X (Commerce stream) Navjot Kaur scored 97.4%, Priyanshi 96.4%, Simranjit Kaur 96%, Nimrat Kaur 95.8%. From (Science stream) Naman scored 96%, Kashish 94.8, Sachin 94.6% and Harshit Sharma 94.4%. At least 16 students in Commerce stream and six students in Non-medical brought laurels to the school by scoring more than 90%. As many as 24 students scored more than 80% and 22 students scored more than 70%. In Class X, 12 children scored more than 90%, 20 students scored more than 80% and 25 students scored more than 70%.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
