Kailash Bahl DAV Sr Sec Public School, Chd, celebrates Mother's Day

Kailash Bahl DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sec 7-B, Chandigarh

The school hosted an event titled 'Nrityam 2025' to celebrate Mother's Day. Nearly 55 mothers of Pre School to Class VII students competed on the theme "Historical Era - Showcasing India's Rich Cultural Heritage". The dance competition featured various categories, including traditional folk dance, classical dance forms and fusion, which was a blend of classical and contemporary. Pragati Singh, Sub-Inspector, Cyber Crime Cell, Chandigarh Police was the chief guest and Dr Amrita Bhullar, who is handling key projects of the Education Department, was the Guest of Honour. Another member of the Jury was Rohini Pal, a trained Kathak dancer and a teacher. School Alumnus Rizul Kaushal also judged the event judiciously. Sunidhi Saini, Kamaldeep Kaur and Meenu were adjudged winners. Bakul, Priyanka and Parminder Kaur won the consolation prizes.
