To honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by the Primary Wing students of the school. The celebration took place in the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Auditorium, where students watched a motivational video on Captain Vikram Batra, one of the brave heroes of the Kargil War. Through the video, children came to know about the real-life courage, love for the country and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999. The students were filled with respect and pride as they learnt about the Indian Army’s strength and bravery. Teachers explained the importance of the day in simple words, helping the students understand why we should always remember and salute our soldiers.
