The school organised a plantation drive, ‘Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam’, under the National Education Week organised on the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020. The event was presided over by Piyusha Akotkar, president of the Vanita Samaj and first lady of NTPC, Shaktinagar. She was welcomed with the guard of honour by the Scouts and Guides team of the school. Akotkar appreciated the awareness and contribution of the students towards saving the environment in this hour of need when there is a need to preserve the nature and the environment. Under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Nam’, students, along with their mothers, planted trees on the school campus under the leadership of the chief guest and school principal. All school staff and parents were present on the occasion.
