Kids ‘R’ Kids Secondary School, Chandigarh, hosted a one-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme dedicated to exploring the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern-day classrooms. The event brought together teaching professionals for an enlightening session focused on harnessing emerging technologies to enrich the academic experience. Aligned with the vision outlined in NEP 2020, the workshop emphasised the need for digital transformation in schools and aimed to equip participants with effective strategies for leveraging intelligent systems in everyday instruction. The session highlighted how advanced tools can foster tailored learning pathways, boost student involvement, and ensure mindful application of innovation in teaching. Two experts led the programme. Arun John Masih, Principal and Managing Director of Chandigarh Baptist School, Sector 45-D, shared insights from his extensive background in educational leadership, cloud-based solutions, and technology-enabled development. Dimple Kalra, Head of the Computer Science Department and PGT at St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, delivered an engaging session on incorporating AI into curriculum planning. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where Principal Anupam Grewal and Vice-Principal Jasmine Kaur acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the guest speakers.
