The school celebrated Baisakhi with the beats of drums and folk music. Children made paintings based on Baisakhi and decorated their classrooms on the theme of Baisakhi. Kindergarten children were dressed in colourful Punjabi costumes. Students presented a colourful programme depicting the culture of Punjab in which gidda and bhangra were the main attractions. Principal Amita Singla informed the children about the contribution of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar in the making of the Constitution and wished everyone a ‘Happy Baisakhi’.
