To reduce pressure on schoolchildren, the school celebrated Children’s Recreation Day on its premises. Under the leadership of principal Dr SS Brar and vice-principal TK Brar, students participated in a variety of action-packed activities designed to teach them sportsmanship and teamwork. The event began with a warm welcome for the chief guest, CEO Captain Rasleen Brar Sakariyam, an alumni of the institution. To make the day even more enjoyable, a ‘No Bag Day’ was declared, allowing children to leave their classrooms and head to the lush, green amusement park on the school campus. The area was beautifully decorated with buntings and balloons, creating a festive atmosphere. Students participated in a range of fun activities, including good handwriting contests, colouring competitions, speech declamations, and poem recitations. The excitement grew with a series of races such as the lemon race, hurdle race, rope skipping, and tug-of-war. These events encouraged friendly competition and teamwork. The teachers took this opportunity to connect with the students, making the day more meaningful. The chief guest addressed the students, delivering an inspiring speech on the importance of sports and activities in building character, resilience, and unity. Both the principal and vice-principal praised the students' teamwork and congratulated the coordinator and staff for organizing a well-planned, fun-filled Children’s Recreation Day celebration.
