SD Public School, Jagadhri, organised its annual cultural extravaganza “Manthan – 2025”. The chief guest was Vishwanath, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jagadhri. The programme commenced with the enchanting school orchestra troupe and a melodious welcome song, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest. A warm welcome speech was delivered by Abhishek Mittal, Secretary, SD Sabha, Jagadhri. Students showcased a vibrant blend of art, culture, and creativity through various captivating performances such as Aaradhna, Classical Fusion, Sambalpuri, Haryanvi, Gujarati, and Rangla Punjab. The audience appreciated item “Dharti Ki Pukar”, which highlighted crucial environmental concerns and reminded everyone of their responsibility towards Mother Earth. The English play based on the theme of social media addiction received special applause for spreading a strong message about mindful use of digital platforms in today’s fast-paced world. Performances like ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Narsimha Avtaar’ added richness to the cultural representation. The school report was presented by Principal Usha Sharma, who proudly highlighted the school’s achievements in academics and co-curricular fields. The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by general secretary Manoj Gupta of the SD School Managing Committee, Jagadhri, followed by the rendition of the national anthem.
