Students of the school bagged positions at the 132nd Children Science Congress held at Government Senior Secondary School, Jassur. Over 100 schools participated in the event. In the Senior Secondary Science Quiz, Manan Puri and Devesh Sharma secured the first place, earned the opportunity to represent Nurpur subdivision at the district level. In the Junior Science Quiz, Harsh Jamwal and Sarvi achieved the second place, while Atharava Singh Rana secured the third place in the Senior Secondary Maths Olympiad. Principal MR Rana commended the students and their teachers for their dedication and hard work, which contributed to this significant achievement for the school.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
