Mehreen, a student of Class VII at AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chandigarh, has been honoured among the top three best entries in the Inter-School DIY Upcycling Model Contest. This event was part of the Inter-School Activities celebrating World Environment Day 2025, organised by Yuvsatta (Youth for Peace) in active collaboration with the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC) and the Chandigarh Administration. Mehreen's creative and sustainable upcycling model stood out for its innovation, eco-conscious approach and practical application-reflecting the spirit of environmental responsibility and youth-led action. Principal Pamila Kaur applauded Mehreen's achievement and encouraged her to remain committed to nurturing environmental awareness and creativity through her ideas.
