Sukhmani Kawal, alumna of MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar, (Session 2022-23), made an extraordinary achievement by securing the first position across all of England in Year 10 assessments. She has been appointed as the Deputy Head Student at Tanfield School, Durham, along with a special distinction — a yellow tie, which symbolises responsibility and leadership. She will be honoured by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for the historic achievement. She shifted to the UK three years back along with her family. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards MGN Public School for shaping her formative years and laying foundation of her present achievements. Principal Kanwaljeet Singh Randhawa and Headmistress-cum-Academics Coordinator Sangeeta Bhatia congratulated her for the achievement and wished her for many more such milestones in future.
