Lohri was celebrated at the school. The young students added energy to the celebration with their joyful dance performances to the beats of the dhol. To deepen the understanding of the significant harvesting festival, teachers creatively explained its importance through detailed illustrations of traditional Lohri scenes. The celebration was marked by the spirit of sharing and togetherness as the little ones exchanged sweets, popcorn, and groundnuts with their friends, making the occasion a delightful and memorable experience for all. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Parveena John Singh said, “Celebrating festivals like Lohri helps instil a sense of tradition and cultural pride in our young learners. These celebrations teach them about the values of community, sharing, and gratitude, which are essential for their holistic development.”
