Students of Kids 'R' Kids Secondary School, Chandigarh, accompanied by teachers, enjoyed a meaningful movie outing at Bestech Square, Mohali, supported by The Tribune. The film, "Sitaare Zameen Par", was chosen for its powerful themes of inclusive education and adaptability. The event provided students with a unique opportunity to engage with real-world issues in a relatable format. Principal Anupam Grewal said, "This was more than a school trip - it was a learning experience beyond the classroom." The film sparked discussions on inclusion, empathy and respect, aligning with the school's mission to nurture compassionate and socially aware individuals. Through this initiative, the school showcased the impact of storytelling in shaping young minds.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
