The students of Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula, celebrated National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The celebration aimed to spread the message of unity, integrity, among students. A special speech was delivered by a student dressed as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, inspiring everyone with Patel’s vision of “One Nation, One Spirit”. Students also presented patriotic songs and a Unity Pledge was taken by all. Principal Vandna highlighted the contributions of Sardar Patel in unifying India after Independence. She appreciated the efforts of students and teachers. The assembly concluded with slogans of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and the rendition of the national anthem.
