As part of the national initiative 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0', the NSS volunteers of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, actively participated in a sapling plantation drive organised under the aegis of Eco Clubs for 'Mission LiFE' (Lifestyle for Environment). The programme merged environmental sustainability with the celebration of motherhood. Students planted trees in honour of their mothers, drawing a meaningful parallel between a mother's nurturing nature and the life-sustaining role of trees. The principal, Gulshan Kaur, lauded the students' efforts, stating, "This initiative is a beautiful reminder that the love and care we receive from our mothers must be reflected in how we care for Mother Earth. It inspires young minds to develop emotional connections with both their families and the environment, which is the true essence of holistic education."
