The NSS unit of Government Senior Secondary School, Tutu, Himachal Pradesh has started a ‘Drug-free India’ campaign ahead of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with a message to the youth to stay away from drugs. Principal of the school Kavita Verma called upon the students and teachers to come forward and fight against the drug menace. NSS unit in charge Manoj Thakur and Chetna Kashyap said during the week-long awareness campaign against drug abuse, in collaboration with Bharti foundation, painting and slogan-writing competitions would be organised. Since, the schools are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all the activities would be conducted online.
Students bring laurels to school
Four students of Tripta Public School, Chalwara (Jawali), have brought laurels to the school by clearing the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2020. Ayushi, Saanvi Thakur, Sargam Dharoch and Mausam got selected for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Paprola. School Principal Rakesh Rana congratulated the students for their achievement.
