The lively and culturally rich festival, Baisakhi, deeply ingrained in Northern India’s traditions, took centre stage at the school, igniting spirits with fervour and enthusiasm. The school campus came alive as the vibrant hues of Punjabi attire were adorned by kindergarten children, who enthusiastically participated in the Baisakhi celebrations. Chanting of ‘Mool Mantra’ was done and serving of ‘kadah prasad’ provided a sensory experience that immersed them in the rich cultural tapestry of Punjab. A dedicated morning assembly served as a platform to enlighten the students about the significance of Baisakhi. The students were captivated by scintillating dance performances shedding light on the historical importance of Baisakhi offering them a profound understanding of the festival’s heritage.
