 The Punjab School Education Department has decided to conduct painting competitions to encourage creative interest in students of government schools.

Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the education department said today that these competitions will be conducted at school level from May 26 to 29 under the ‘Parho Punjab, Paraho Punjab’ project.

The students of VI to X classes will be able to take part in these competitions. Different topics are allotted for painting for each class. These competitions are being held online due to closure of schools. The first three students will be awarded with certificates.

According to the spokesperson, the department has taken this decision  to motivate the students towards painting and to sharpen their hidden talent as well as to provide them a positive environment during the phase of Covid pandemic.
