The programme was inaugurated under the chairmanship of principal Vinita Kumar Tomar. Students from Classes I to XI participated in the programme. The aim was to give information about the usefulness of mathematics in daily life, the mystery of Pi and create interest in children towards the subject of mathematics. In the programme, students of Classes I and II made a smiley symbolising Pi. Children of Class III made a smiley by cutting the shape of Pi in a circular shape while Class IV students decorated the Pi by paper cutting and pasting. Students of Class VI made beautiful bracelets based on the Pi theme while students of Class VII made beautiful wall hangings. Students of Classes VIII and IX made posters depicting the mathematical connection of traditional art forms with Pi. On the occasion, principal Vinita Kumar Tomar congratulated the participants and motivated them to participate in such activities
in future.
