Paras Public School, Bhawarna, hosted a mental health awareness programme conducted by Sanjeev Kumar, a counsellor from Civil Hospital, Palampur. The programme was attended by students from Class VII to XII, along with the school Director Mahesh Chandra Katoch and Principal Neelam Rana. Sanjeev Kumar provided insights into the physical changes that occur during adolescence. Sanjeev Kumar advised the students to stay away from substance abuse and incorporate nutritious food into their diet. He informed them about the hospital’s initiative to combat malnutrition and anaemia, and the government’s efforts to provide various medications in schools.
