The grand inauguration of ‘Tarunotsav’ at the school took place with great enthusiasm and excitement. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Pushpa Sharma, filling the venue with spiritual energy. This was followed by a sweet welcome song presented by students, which captivated everyone’s heart and added to the programme’s grandeur. Praveen, PGT, Maths, shed light on the significance and objectives of ‘Tarunotsav’. He explained that the festival is a powerful medium for the holistic development of young individuals and provides a platform to showcase their talents. Addressing the future students of Class XI, Principal Pushpa Sharma inspired them to make the most of ‘Tarunotsav’ and strive for self-improvement. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
