A quiz competition commemorating Prakarm Diwas, held under the aegis of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, took place in the school. Drawing participation from 100 students hailing from 10 nearby schools, including Jawahar Lal Navodya Vidyalaya, KV-31, KV-3BRD and seven Government Model Schools. This event is an integral component of a broader initiative spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at fostering a stress-free environment for students. The ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme, now in its seventh consecutive year since its inception in 2018, constitutes an annual forum wherein the Prime Minister engages in a dialogue with students, educators, and parents. This interaction seeks to mitigate exam-related anxiety and stress, while encouraging students to articulate their thoughts and pose questions to the Prime Minister. By facilitating this platform, the government endeavours to promote a salubrious and stress-free ambiance for students appearing in board examinations, thereby enabling them to perform optimally. Principal KS Pathania announced the results and blessed the children by giving them awards and books. The first position was bagged by Vihan of KV-31, Chandigarh. The second position was bagged by Jatin Batra of Government Model School, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, while the third position was bagged by Aakriti Malik of Class IX-C of the school. Vice-Principal Ravinder Kumar thanked all the escorts and children for participating with great zeal and enthusiasm. He also thanked Meenu Bala, Mahesh, Meenu and all staff members for organising the programme successfully.
