The 35th Regional-Level Youth Parliament Competition 2024 was held at the school. The first phase began with opening ceremony, attended by chief guest Pawan Duggal, former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Anupgarh, Rajasthan. Gp Capt. Tanvir Singh, VSM, Chairman, VMC of the school, was the guest of honor. Preeti Saxena, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Chandigarh, PC Tewari, Assistant Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Chandigarh, and SK Mishra, Principal, PM Shri KV, Dappar, were also present. The programme commenced with a grand welcome of dignitaries by Scouts and Guides, followed by Green Welcome and the lighting of lamp by the chief guest. The jury members for the competition were Pawan Duggal, PC Tewari, and SK Mishra. Total 362 students from seven Kendriya Vidyalayas of Chandigarh Region participated in the competition.
