Saksham Yadav, a student of the school and a bronze medallist in the World Taekwondo Championship, was honoured on World Children’s Day. She received the honour from the Jayant Chaudhary (Minister of State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Ministry of Education) and Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra. The event was broadcast live across India. Commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Nidhi Pandey witnessed these proud moments. Saksham Yadav dedicated her victory to her coach Rajendra Singh and Principal Gurpreet Singh for their guidance.
