The school observed Founder’s Day to commemorate the 121st birth anniversary of its visionary founder Rai Saheb Ch Pratap Singh. The event was a heartfelt tribute to a great philanthropist who dedicated his life to the service of humanity. The day was marked by offering floral tributes to the revered founder by Director-Principal Poonam Navet, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff. The ambience was one of piety and reverence, reflecting the deep respect and gratitude felt by everyone at the school. The day served as a reminder of the noble ideals and tireless efforts of Rai Saheb Ch Pratap Singh, inspiring everyone to carry forward his legacy of compassion, service, and dedication to education.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
