The school commemorated Teacher’s Day with a vibrant celebration, marked by heartfelt gestures and exuberant performances. The festivities commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a poignant floral tribute to the educators, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and our guiding light Dr RS Bhatia. Students presented personalised greeting cards, expressing their gratitude to their mentors. The event featured an array of engaging activities, including melodious singing and dance competitions, a soulful poem recitation by Sneha, an entertaining ‘antakshari’ session for female teachers and fun games for male teachers. Director Principal Poonam Navet congratulated the teachers and applauded the efforts put in by students and encouraged them to continue appreciating the noble gestures of their teachers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
