In order to make the schoolchildren fully aware of fast depleting water table, a quiz competition based on the topic, ‘Parched Future’ was held at the school. Through this competition, the students were made aware of causes and consequences of water scarcity that is going to further increase in the coming years. A strong message was communicated to the students of the school about the way we need to conserve water resource. Students also learnt about the way technology is to be used to use water resource in a responsible and judicious manner.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
