Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School, Chandigarh, celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and the Architect of National Unity. The celebrations began with a special morning assembly highlighting the ideals of unity, integrity and brotherhood. Esteemed guests, including Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilbag Singh, Station House Officer Gyan Singh and President of the Residents' Welfare Association, were welcomed by Principal Dr Seema Biji. Poster-making and poetry recitation competitions were organised, allowing students to creatively express their ideas on national integration, patriotism and unity in diversity. The guest speakers emphasised the relevance of Sardar Patel's vision in today's times. The event also featured a 'Run for Unity', where students carried banners and chanted slogans such as "Unity in Diversity is India's Strength" and "One Nation, One Vision, One Identity." The event concluded with the Rashtriya Ekta Pledge, where students, teachers and guests vowed to preserve the nation's unity, integrity and security. The campus reverberated with patriotic fervour as everyone sang the National Anthem.
