Procuring a fight

For words form a divide,

For one say reconcile

For the other hear conceit,

For one say reconvene

For the other hear scheme,

To form a bridge with words

To communicate with ease.

Longing to yearn

For it knows no bounds

For it lives for the other

For words go unscathed

For talks go untold

To free from a barrier

Which forever goes unsaid

Strangers say some

For they do not know the other,

For they try to exclaim sentences,

Which the other would know

To learn the other may never form the path to thou

A celestial body will forever divide,

For galaxies never unite

For they are forever separated,

For they are far beyond the feeling,

The feeling of love,

To be forever separated by a belt of their own.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
