Celebrating National Nutrition Week, students of classes III to VI participated in a poster-making activity. The event was designed to highlight the importance of healthy eating and to inspire everyone to make nutritious choices in their daily lives. With creativity flowing and brushes in hand, young artists expressed their understanding of balanced diets, the benefits of fruits and vegetables, and the significance of staying hydrated. From colourful depictions of the food pyramid to messages encouraging mindful eating, each poster was a testament to the students’ grasp of nutrition essentials. The activity not only allowed the students to showcase their artistic talents but also helped them internalise valuable lessons on the role of healthy eating in leading a vibrant life.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
