The school, under the Ryan International Sports Club, organised its 25th Minithon in its vicinity. In sync with the vision “Sports” of Chairman Dr AF Pinto, the event is an annual feature of the Ryan Group of Institutions. Around 2,730 students from 19 different schools of the Tricity and Punjab region participated in the event. Kuldeep Kumar, Mayor, Chandigarh; Jatinder Malhotra, state president, BJP, Chandigarh; Ram Gopal, DSP, PCCC, Chandigarh Police; Gaurav Gautam, Sports Minister, Haryana; Bimal Jhass, hockey Asian medallist; Surjit Singh, hockey coach and national hockey player; Subah Dewan, ICF certified life coach; Sanjay Tandon, Standing Committee, Law & Order, Home Department, Chandigarh Administration; Navroop, judo world champion; Om Parkash, Chandigarh Police; Rupesh Kumar, DSO, Mohali; and Siddharth Kaul, cricketer (Punjab Kings team) were the dignitaries for the flagging off of the races and prize distribution ceremony. The Team Championship Trophy was won by Ryan International School, Chandigarh. The second position was clinched by Ryan International School, Amritsar. The third position was shared by Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 54, Chandigarh, and Saupin’s School, Chandigarh. The Mass Participation Award was bagged by Shishu Niketan, Sector 43, Chandigarh.
