Students of classes VI to IX and Class XI of the school had an enriching educational experience when they visited South Indian Bank, Cheema Chowk. The initiative was aimed at providing first-hand exposure to essential banking operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and the use of debit cards and ATMs. The school team was hosted by Branch Manager Krishna Chandran CK, who engaged the students with an insightful talk on the importance of financial inclusion and the value of savings from a young age. Students actively participated by filling mock pay-in slips and observing the functioning of an ATM. Principal Manasi Thapar emphasised that such initiatives not only enhance students’ understanding of financial systems but also prepare them to manage their personal finances responsibly in the future.
