Jagjot Singh, a Class VII student at Ryan International School Patiala, has been honoured with the Jury Choice Award (Rank 1) at the prestigious BriBooks Summer Book Writing Festival 2025 for his captivating adventure tale, "Secrets Discovered by Pirates". The book follows the thrilling journey of Captain Benny, a kind-hearted pirate who discovers a mysterious map leading to hidden treasure, braves wild seas and storms and embarks on a quest filled with courage, friendship and discovery. Jagjot expressed heartfelt gratitude to his school for nurturing his creativity, stating that the school's motivation and encouragement from his Principal, Pooja Sharma, and teachers gave him the confidence to participate in the festival. He found bringing his characters to life and seeing his ideas turn into a real story to be the most exciting part of the experience. Additionally, Gurneet Kaur, a Grade VI student, brought further pride to the school by earning the Published Author Certificate for her book "The Egypt of 2 Ms". She was also recognised with the BriBooks Silver Star Medallion, celebrating her success as a published author at a young age.
