The Bhagwan Mahavir Jan Kalyanak Mahotsav Committee organised a grand and spiritually uplifting celebration on the auspicious occasion of Lord Mahavir Swami’s 2626th Janma Kalyanak. The celebration was hosted on the campus of the school, where members from all three Jain communities came together. The students of the school also gave beautiful performances reflecting Jain values and teachings. MLA of Ambala City Aseem Goel was the chief guest and commended the initiative and unity displayed by the Jain community. Ten other Jain schools from across Ambala participated in various dance performances, adding vibrancy to the cultural aspect of the celebration. Students of SA Jain Senior Model School secured the first place, bringing immense pride to their institution.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
