Independence Day was celebrated at the school. The programme began with a solemn tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation’s freedom. The school band welcomed chief guest Assistant Parish Priest, Chandigarh Shimla Diocese, Father Powlish and other dignitaries, including Sr Principal Sr Jesina, Vice-Principal Sr Lismi, Sr Fidelia, Sr Sherly, and others. The students presented a series of plays and acts that brought alive the sacrifices of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Another act remembered the bravery of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The celebration ended with a bhangra performance. Father Powlish, in his address, emphasised the importance of freedom, unity, and responsibility.
